Assembly Team Lead

Supervises and coordinates activities of production workers by performing the following duties.
Include but not limited to:
Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines
Initiate/Coordinate Corrective Action when necessary
Studies production schedules and estimates labor requirements for completion of job assignments
Plans, schedules, and assigns workers to meet production schedules
Interprets company policies to workers
Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
Perform employee training and ISO verifications
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency and/or motivation of shop, department, or work crew
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems
Evaluate performance of hourly personnel on a scheduled basis
Perform VA-WP adjustments as necessary to ensure inventory accuracy
Respond to any emergency situations, which may arise
Ensure daily production totals are properly scanned into Wintegrate System
Audit QC records for accuracy
Enforce safety rules and regulations
Verify daily attendance from timesheets
Discipline hourly personnel as needed in conjunction with Production Supervisor. Contact Manager Assembly Operations/HR for consultation and review
Provides input to Assembly Supervisor and Assembly Manager for performance reviews for hourly personnel
Ensure housekeeping and organization on the production floor
Fill in for Assembly Production Supervisor as needed
Run labels for production orders
Ensure quality levels are being obtained on production lines
Perform all other relevant tasks as assigned by the Manager Assembly Operations/Assembly Production Supervisor
Supervises all hourly assembly employees for a respective shift and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of that shift
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include orientation and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; counseling and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Two-year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
