Summary: Serves and replenishes food from counters and steam tables. Breaks down stations at the end of meal periods, while assisting fellow staff with duties as needed. Chopping, cutting, slicing and assembling as needed at various stations. Cleans and sanitizes workstations, counters, steam tables and other equipment. Prepares serving areas for next shift staff. Assists customers with opening containers, cutting and answering general ingredient/special item questions. Responsible for following food safety and physical safety policies at all times, while utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) when required by management. Job duties to include but not limited to preparing meals for both students, visitors, and staff. Will also be involved in catering events.
Availability is a key part of this position.
